Roof collapses in Paphos due to earthquake

A roof of an uninhabited house collapsed in Kelokedara, Paphos, due to seismic activity. According to the President of EOA Paphos, Charalambos Pittokopitis, there were no other reports of damage. Mr. Pittokopitis pointed out that the roof of the old house collapsed due to the earthquake on Wednesday afternoon. He instructed engineers to contact the community leader of Kelokedara and the Paphos District Administration to provide technical support if needed.
The services of EOA Paphos are on alert for seismic vibrations, storms and extreme weather events. Precautionary measures are being taken to deal with unforeseen events on the coasts of Paphos.
