Clean Monday: Supermarket and Market Opening Hours

Consumers are rushing to make last-minute purchases before Clean Monday. Most supermarket chains, such as Sklavenitis, AB Vassilopoulos, Masoutis, Galaxias, and Kritikos, will remain closed.

However, some myMarket stores in Athens and the provinces will be open from 08:00 to 14:00, while Lidl will be open from 07:45 to 16:00.

Shop & Go type stores, OK! Markets, and Bazaar chains will operate as normal, with extended hours. Street markets and bakeries will operate as usual. Fish shops, pastry shops, kiosks, cafes, and taverns will also remain open.

Varvakios Market in Athens and the Consumer Market in Rentis will be open until noon on Clean Monday.
