Weather: Rain, Dust, and Fog Today in Cyprus

According to the Department of Meteorology, the weather in Cyprus today will be mainly cloudy. Thin fog may be observed in the morning, mainly in the eastern half of the island.

A barometric low will temporarily affect the island on Monday. Dust will be present in the atmosphere, intermittently increased, until tomorrow evening.

The winds will blow mainly northeasterly to southeasterly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and later in the west up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to rough. The temperature will rise to around 20 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and 10 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

Tonight, the weather will remain mainly cloudy, while isolated showers may occur in the west during the early hours. Local rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected on Monday, mainly after noon. Hail is likely to fall in a thunderstorm. On Tuesday, locally increased cloud cover will be observed, which may initially give isolated showers in the west. On Wednesday, the weather will be mainly clear.
