Road Closure in Nicosia for Works – Directions to General Hospital

A road in Nicosia will be closed for works from midnight on Tuesday, 05/08/2025, until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 06/08/2025. According to an announcement by the Department of Public Works, asphalt pavement removal and replacement works will be carried out on Kalamon/Glafkou Kleridi Avenue.

Kalamon Avenue, heading from Geri towards Nicosia General Hospital, will be closed from its junction with Chatzitheodosiou Street to its junction with Kantaras Street. Drivers are advised to use Chatzitheodosiou, Vatylis, and Akropoleos Streets to access the hospital.

The Department clarified that traffic from Nicosia General Hospital towards Latsia/Geri will not be affected.
