Road closures in Paralimni for carnival

Due to carnival events, the Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia has announced temporary traffic arrangements.

On Saturday, 21/2/26, for the night parade, a section of Griva Digeni Street (from Tasou Markou to Akropoleos) will be closed from 19:00 to 21:00. Also, from 20:00 to 21:00, Arch. Makariou III Street (from PEK building), the junction of Agiou Dimitriou and Akropoleos, and Ag. Georgiou Street (from Pittatzii pharmacy) will be closed until the end of the event (24:00-1:00).

On Sunday, 22/6/26, for the carnival parade, Protara Avenue, Agiou Georgiou Street, part of Griva Digeni Street, Tasou Markou Street and sections of side streets will be closed. Closures will begin gradually from 10:00 a.m. and will be completed at 12:00. Roads will gradually open after the parade.

The junction of Protara Avenue with Filikis Etaireias Street will remain open for residents.
