The Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia has announced traffic adjustments in Paralimni due to carnival events.

Specifically, on Saturday, 21/2/26, for the night parade, a section of Griva Digeni Street (from the junction with Tasou Markou Street to Akropoleos Street) will be closed from 19:00 to 21:00. Also, from 20:00 to 21:00, Arch. Makariou III Street (from the height of the PEK building) and the junction of Agiou Dimitriou and Akropoleos (Kalli barbershop) will be closed. Ag. Georgiou Street (from Pittatzis pharmacy) will remain closed until the end of the event (24:00-1:00).

On Sunday, 22/6/26, for the carnival parade, Protara Avenue (from the EKO – ARTYMATA gas station), Agiou Georgiou Street, part of Griva Digeni Street, Tasou Markou Street, and sections of side streets will be closed. The junction of Protara Avenue with Filikis Etaireias Street will remain open to the EKO ARTYMATA gas station for residents and carnival participants. Closures will begin gradually from 10:00 a.m. and will be completed by 12:00 p.m. Roads will reopen gradually after the parade and cleanup.
