Lane Closure in Pedoulas Due to Immobilized Bus

Road conditions are generally normal around 9:00 PM on Friday [August 15th]. Traffic is flowing smoothly on highways, in urban areas, and in coastal and mountainous regions.

On the Pedoulas-Pinewood-Kakopetria road, in the Pedoulas area, one lane remains closed due to an immobilized bus. Efforts are underway to move the bus with a special tow truck.

The bus became immobilized around 1:00 PM on Friday after a fire broke out in the engine, which was extinguished by the automatic fire extinguishing system. No one was injured. Passengers were transferred to another bus.

The Police advise drivers to be careful and comply with the traffic code.
