Road closures in mountainous Limassol due to fire – Alternative routes

Special traffic arrangements are in effect in mountainous Limassol due to the deadly fire. The Police announced that the Trimiklini – Lania – Alassa and Vouni – Agios Ambrosios – Kivides roads remain closed.

Drivers heading from Limassol to Troodos can use the Palodia – Paramitha – Gerasa – Kalou Choriou – Agros route. For the opposite direction, Troodos to Limassol, they can travel via Saitta – Agios Mamas – Apesia – Korfi.

The Police remind citizens in the affected areas to follow the instructions of the competent authorities. Police patrols are in the areas to provide assistance and protection, as well as to identify fire resurgences.
