Kozani: Oxygen Tank Explosion in Tsotyli – 54-Year-Old in Critical Condition

An oxygen tank exploded at a yard in Tsotyli, Kozani, severely injuring a 54-year-old man. The man is hospitalized in critical condition with burns and amputation. A second injured person, 45 years old, was also taken to the hospital.

According to kozanimedia, the 54-year-old has burns on 60% of his face and chest. He was initially transferred to the Tsotyli Health Center and then to the Mamatseio Hospital of Kozani, where doctors managed to stabilize him before being transferred to Hippokratio Hospital.

The fire department and police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
