Cyprus: 84 Dangerous Products on the Market – Full List
The Consumer Protection Service informs that 84 products identified in various EU countries and notified through the Safety Gate System pose risks to consumer health and safety.
The products have been distributed to the competent government authorities for inspection in the Cypriot market:
- Consumer Protection Service: 23 products
- Department of Electromechanical Services: 26 products
- Department of Road Transport: 20 products
- Pharmaceutical Services Department: 8 products
- Department of Labour Inspection: 7 products
Consumers can search for the products on the Safety Gate website. The Consumer Protection Service calls on economic operators to notify the authorities if they have these products. It also calls on consumers to stop using and return the products to the stores where they purchased them.
