Cyprus Flights Affected by Airspace Closure – Over 500 Passengers

A technical issue in the Athens FIR is impacting flights to and from Cyprus, according to information from ΚΥΠΕ via Hermes Airports.

At Larnaca Airport, three flights are affected: two departures (Aegean and Sky) and one arrival (Aegean). Approximately 500 passengers are affected by these cancellations.

At Paphos Airport, a Ryan Air flight to Athens at 16:20 is also expected to be affected.

Airlines are changing flight plans to avoid the Athens FIR. Passengers are advised to monitor airline announcements.
