Larissa: Arrests for Violating Measures Against Sheep and Goat Pox

Two individuals were arrested yesterday in Larissa by police officers of the Larissa Police Department for violating measures imposed to prevent the spread of sheep and goat pox.
Specifically, a Greek owner of a flock was arrested for allowing 130 sheep to graze approximately 200 meters away from their pen, despite the movement ban. The foreign shepherd of the flock, who took them out to graze, was also arrested.
A case file was opened against them for violating Article 285 of the Penal Code, "Violation of measures for the prevention of diseases."
