Larnaca: Chemistry Lab Results Awaited in Water Contamination Case

The results from the State Chemistry Lab are expected within the week regarding the case of a 78-year-old's death and the hospitalization of four people in Larnaca, after consuming water from a cooler. Police are taking statements from individuals in the close circle of those affected.

Investigations are continuing at an intensive pace, and no other individuals who consumed water from the same cooler have been identified. Police sources state that, based on current data, there is no indication of criminal activity. However, they emphasize that this is a particularly delicate case that cannot be fully evaluated before the scientific examinations are completed.
