Larnaca: Checks for Undeclared Work and Violations

Police, in cooperation with local authorities and other services, conducted extensive checks in Larnaca on June 25, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
13 establishments were inspected, resulting in complaints for operating without a license, selling alcoholic beverages without a license, not using an electronic cash register, and undeclared work.
Five complaints were made for undeclared work, four recommendations from the Electrical and Mechanical Services, eight from the Fire Service, four from the Larnaca District Self-Government Organization, and one administrative fine from the Municipality of Larnaca.
42 individuals were checked, resulting in one arrest for illegal employment and one for illegal stay. Additionally, 18 complaints were issued for traffic violations and one vehicle was impounded.
Checks continue daily to ensure legality.
