Authorities in Limassol are searching for a Russian businessman who has been missing since last Thursday. According to the police, there is no indication of foul play.
Limassol's Assistant Police Director, Lefteris Kyriakou, stated that the businessman was last seen in the Pissouri area. The report of his disappearance was made by members of his company's staff. The businessman resides permanently in Cyprus.
Mr. Kyriakou also mentioned that there is no evidence linking the disappearance to his arrest in 2013 in Belarus and his extradition to Russia for a case of abuse of power.
