Limassol: Protest Against Devastating Fire

A crowd gathered in Limassol to protest the recent devastating fire in the mountainous region of the city. The event was organized through social media by 22-year-old student Sofia Perikleous.

The protesters gathered at the Heroes Christou and Miltou Christoforou theater, where a speech was given and a minute of silence was observed for the victims of the fire. This was followed by a march along the coastal park and a gathering at the old port beach, with slogans about the inadequacy of the state mechanism and the government.
