Limassol: Fire Victims Must Register with FIMAS for Compensation

The Limassol District Administration has sent forms to fire-stricken communities for those claiming compensation for property damaged in the fire who are not already registered in the Integrated Financial Management Information System (FIMAS) of the Treasury.

Limassol Deputy District Officer, Hlektra Panagiotou, stated that those not registered with FIMAS must complete an application to receive compensation. Those already receiving mountain community allowance are already registered.

393 calls have been received regarding damage to properties (288 residences, 105 others) and 129 for vehicles. The District Administration has called on those who have not reported damages to do so by Wednesday, July 30, at 25 806405, 25 806459, 25 806426 and 25 806422.
