Limassol: Damage Assessment After Deadly Fire

Despair and incalculable damage in mountainous Limassol after the deadly fire. Hundreds of homes were completely burned or suffered extensive damage. Deputy District Officer Elektra Panagiotou spoke of 229 houses in at least 15 communities.

According to RIK's correspondent in Limassol, Maria Konstantinou, the number of animals, properties and vehicles destroyed is incalculable. Crews from the District Administration continue to assess the damage. At the same time, flare-ups were recorded, which were dealt with by the fire brigade.
