The Commissioner of Agricultural Payments, Andreas Kyprianou, stated that the first direct compensation for KOAG applicants will be paid by the end of next week. The approval of a 16 million euro plan is also expected to reactivate farmers and livestock breeders, with a subsidy rate of 80%.
The Deputy District Officer of Limassol, Ilektra Panagiotou, stated that compensation will be paid through the FIMAS system.
A firefighter, speaking to OMEGA Channel, reported that there are instructions not to intervene in residences due to lack of adequate training and insurance, resulting in property being destroyed.
