Limassol: Children's Carnival Parade and Events

Limassol is celebrating the carnival with a series of events. Today, Sunday, the Limassol Municipality's children's carnival parade took place along the coastal road.

The parade started at 11:30 from the traffic lights of the public garden, heading towards the old port, led by the Batukinio children's percussion group, the "Queen of Passion and Madness", the majorettes of the Cyprus Guides Corps, and the Limassol Majorettes.

At 16:30, the traditional event of the Serenaders took place outside "Perama", with the Giorgalletou serenaders honoring their founder, a. Giorgos Giorgalletou. The Municipality of Limassol also honored the old serenaders Lollos and Periklis Giorgalletos.

The events continued at 20:30 at the Lanitis Carob Mill, with a disco party by the "Time Surfers Party Band".
