Nicosia Celebrates October 28th with Grand Parade

With great enthusiasm and pride, Nicosia commemorated October 28th and the epic of 1940. The traditional student parade took place in front of the Greek Embassy, with the participation of students, parents, and representatives of occupied municipalities.

The anniversary commemorates the struggle against fascism and Nazism, as well as the defense of human rights. Schools and universities honored the heroes of 1940, while the participation of occupied organizations and municipalities from the Nicosia and Kyrenia provinces was particularly moving.
