Nicosia: 6-Year-Old in Stable Condition After Fall From Balcony

A six-year-old child is in stable but serious condition at Makario Hospital after falling from a height of nine meters in Nicosia. The incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday.

According to reports, the child woke up and was looking for his mother, who was working at a restaurant. The child opened the bathroom window, lost his balance, and fell into the light well and then to the ground.

Neighbors heard the child shouting and called an ambulance. The mother, in her statement to the police, stated that she is a single parent and has no one to look after her child while she works.
