Nicosia: Farewell to 16-year-old Sofia Sigouna

Nicosia mourns the untimely death of 16-year-old Sofia Sigouna, who passed away on August 19, 2025.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimon in Makedonitissa. The family invites those who wish to bid farewell to Sofia.

Instead of wreaths, the family requests donations to the charities "Mikroi Heroes", "Christina A. Apostolou" and "Nikolas Theologou".

Sofia's wish was for those attending the funeral to wear pink if possible.
