Nicosia: Missing Cat Merlia Found – €2,000 Donated to Shelter

Merlia, a cat that had been missing from the Latsia area of Nicosia for ten days, has been found and returned to her family. The family had offered a reward of €2,000 for her safe return.

Although a reward of €2,000 was initially offered for Merlia's safe return, the family decided to donate the amount to the SPDC Shelter, supporting their work in protecting animals.

In a post, the family thanked those who helped in the search and expressed their belief that Merlia was returned by the same person who had initially taken her.

Merlia's story had caused a great stir on social media.
