Larnaca Port and Marina: Projects to be Delivered in 2025-2026

Projects at the Larnaca port and marina are expected to be delivered in 2025 and early 2026. This was stated by the Minister of Transport, Alexis Vafeadis, after a meeting with representatives of the National Investment Fund of the Hellenic Republic and the Mayor of Larnaca.

Mr. Vafeadis emphasized that the meeting is a step towards the implementation of the city's marina development. The start of consultations between the Advisors and the local community was also defined.

The Mayor of Larnaca, Andreas Vyras, expressed hope for a positive outcome and the start of a project that will meet the needs of the city. The goal is for the area to contribute to the economy of Larnaca and Cyprus.

At the same time, the project of creating a large area of the marina to be connected with the rest of the city, Europe Square, and the creation of the Nautical Club is progressing.

Mr. Vafeadis expressed hope that the Nautical Club project and the renovation of Europe Square will give a new structure to Larnaca and create a new urban center.
