Reduced Water Supply in Famagusta District Due to Malfunction

Today, there is a reduced water supply in the Famagusta district, including the Municipal Departments of Ayia Napa, Paralimni, and Deryneia, due to a technical malfunction at the Dhekelia Desalination Plant.

According to an announcement by the Municipality of Ayia Napa, the water supply will be significantly reduced until the malfunction is repaired. The Municipality urges consumers to exercise caution and responsibility in their water usage, avoiding unnecessary consumption.

The Municipality of Ayia Napa is in constant communication with the relevant services and will inform the public about the progress of the restoration. A similar appeal was made by the Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia.
