Reduced Water Supply in Famagusta District Due to Malfunction

Today, the water supply is reduced in the Famagusta district, including the municipal districts of Ayia Napa, Paralimni, and Deryneia.

According to an announcement by the Municipality of Ayia Napa, the reduction is due to a technical malfunction at the Dhekelia Desalination Unit. The Famagusta District Local Government Organization informs that the water supply will be significantly reduced until the malfunction is repaired.

The municipalities of Ayia Napa and Paralimni-Deryneia call on consumers to show caution and responsibility in water use, avoiding unnecessary consumption.
