Slight Temperature Drop and Passing Clouds in Cyprus

A seasonal low pressure system is affecting Cyprus. Tonight, the weather will remain mainly clear, but increased low clouds will be observed locally, especially in the west and north. Later, during the early morning hours, sparse fog or mist is expected to form locally. The winds will gradually weaken and continue to blow mainly southwest to northwest, and later locally variable, weak, 3 Beaufort.
The sea will remain slightly rough in the west and north, but will become calm to slightly rough in the south and east. The temperature will drop to around 19 degrees inland, around 21 on the coast and around 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tomorrow, the weather will be mainly clear, but at times increased local low clouds will be observed, especially in the western half of the island. In the morning, the winds will blow mainly southeast to southwest, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, to gradually strengthen and become mainly southwest to northwest, moderate to strong and temporarily strong on the windward side, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea in the west and north will be slightly rough, while in the south and east, in the morning hours it will be calm to slightly rough to gradually become slightly rough. The temperature will rise to around 37 degrees inland, around 33 on the east, southeast and north coasts and around 31 degrees on the west coasts as well as in the higher mountains.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the weather will continue to be mainly clear, although at times locally increased low clouds will be observed. The temperature is not expected to change significantly until Friday, remaining close to the average climatological values of the season.
