Minalagia: Predictions for Rain and Snow in Cyprus

Leonidas Leonidou has kept the tradition of Minalagia alive for over 60 years, predicting weather conditions. In an appearance on OMEGA Channel's "Enimerosi Tora" show, he predicted a winter with plenty of rain and snow for Cyprus.

According to his predictions, the first significant rainfall is expected between September 14 and 19. As for snow, it is expected to begin in January, with a major snowfall of over 1.5 meters predicted between January 15 and 20.

Mr. Leonidou advised farmers to delay planting certain crops to avoid potential damage from rain and hail in late May.
