Monument for Isaac and Solomou Inaugurated After 29 Years

A monument dedicated to Tasos Isaac and Solomos Solomou will be inaugurated on Saturday, August 9, following an initiative by the Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia. The monument consists of two statues, created by sculptor Philippos Giapanis, and is located near the old Paralimni stadium.

The erection of the monument comes after efforts by the Isaac-Solomou Memory Initiative, while motorcyclists had previously created their own monument near the Deryneia roadblock.

Despite the erection of the monument, it is noted that at the roadblock there is no sign explaining the history of the two men and the lack of justice for their murders. ΑΛ.ΜΙΧ
