Mouttagiaka, Limassol: Uncontrolled Fire, "IKAROS 2" Activated

A fire is raging uncontrolled north of Mouttagiaka, in the Limassol district, since Sunday noon. The Fire Service reported that the "IKAROS 2" Plan and Advanced Command Center have been activated to deal with it.

Ground forces are being reinforced from the districts of Larnaca, Nicosia, and the Vasilikos Fire Station. The Forest Department, the Game Service, Civil Defense, volunteer teams, and tracked vehicles are also participating in the extinguishing operation.

Citizens expressed their concern by posting videos on social media.
