A new program will be implemented in high schools starting in September, aiming to directly integrate students into the labor market after graduation.

According to «Phileleftheros», the program aims to provide skills, reduce school dropout rates, and align educational programs with the needs of the labor market.

The 5b direction, entitled «Applied Learning in Commerce and Services», is under development by the Directorate of Secondary General Education.

The program includes the writing of 12 Analytical Programs and the development of educational material for six new courses, such as Office Organization and Management, Informatics Applications, Marketing, Health Education, Green Transition, and Design and Technology.

Training for teachers of various specialties is also planned. The Ministry of Education's plan is expected to be completed in March and will be implemented in selected high schools from the new school year.
