New Yellow Warning for Heatwave in Cyprus

The Meteorological Department has issued a new yellow warning for a heatwave in Cyprus. The warning is in effect from 12:00 noon on Saturday until 17:00 in the afternoon.

The maximum temperature is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius inland and 32 degrees in the higher mountainous areas.

The weather will be mainly clear, with a possibility of light fog or fog in the south and east during the early morning hours. The winds will be light, 3 Beaufort. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday the weather will be mainly clear with a gradual drop in temperature.
