New Yellow Warning for High Temperatures in Cyprus

Temperatures remain consistently high in Cyprus, with the Meteorological Service issuing a new yellow warning for high temperatures.

The warning is in effect from 12:00 noon on Saturday until 5:00 PM. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 42 degrees Celsius in inland areas and around 32 degrees Celsius in the higher mountainous regions.

Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear, with possible local fog or low cloud cover in the south and east. Winds will be light, 3 Beaufort, and the sea calm to slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 23 degrees inland, 24 on the coast, and 21 in the higher mountains.

Tomorrow, the weather will be mainly clear, with light to moderate winds, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough. The temperature will rise to around 42 degrees inland, 35 in the southeast, south, and north coasts, and 32 degrees in the west and southwest coasts as well as in the higher mountains.

On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be mainly clear, with a gradual drop in temperature.
