New sports facilities at Kissonerga Elementary School

The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, inaugurated new sports facilities at Kissonerga Elementary School on Friday.

The new facilities include a basketball and volleyball court. The Minister assured that they will continue efforts for the qualitative improvement and upgrading of public schools.

Ms. Michaelidou emphasized that they aim for the school to create democratic, critically thinking and active citizens, connecting knowledge with the demands of our time.

In addition, she mentioned that the new sports area strengthens the educational community and promotes values such as cooperation and respect.
