Another Dead Dolphin Found in Paphos: Concerns Rise

Another dead dolphin has washed ashore in Paphos, just 15 days after another dead dolphin was found in the area.

The dolphin was found near Paphos Airport, on the coast between Timi and Acheleia, by amateur fishermen.

The relevant authorities, including the Police and the Department of Fisheries, have been informed and are expected to conduct an autopsy and sampling tomorrow. The frequency of incidents raises concerns about the causes of death of marine mammals.

After the completion of the examinations, the dolphin will be removed from the coast in accordance with the established protocols.
