New Sweeper for Limassol Municipality, Donated by XM

The Cleaning Service of the Municipality of Limassol has been strengthened with a modern sweeper vehicle, donated by XM as part of its corporate social responsibility. The vehicle was handed over during an event held in front of the Municipal Palace.

The Mayor of Limassol, Mr. Yiannis Armeftis, thanked XM for its long-term support. XM's Co-CEO, Stavri Morti, emphasized the importance of supporting local communities by the private sector.

Mr. Armeftis presented the actions of the Health and Cleansing Service, mentioning the strengthening of the fleet with new vehicle purchases and targeted cleaning interventions in the city. In the 2025 budget, the relevant funds exceed two million euros.

Cleanups were carried out in more than 1,300 plots, over 11,000 tons of waste were removed, 95 uninhabited houses were cleaned, and 116 new sources of nuisance were identified.
