New Call Center at the Road Transport Department to Serve Citizens

The Road Transport Department (TOM) is launching a new call center aimed at improving service to citizens. The contract for the provision of services was signed on Monday, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, Alexis Vafeadis.

Mr. Vafeadis described the move as a “small action”, while estimating that it “will solve a huge problem”, providing immediate service to citizens. He noted that the call center will operate on a “more professional basis”, with improved service within six weeks.

Answering a question regarding appointments for the replacement of TAKATA airbags, the Minister stated that the call center will serve citizens for any issue related to the TOM. He clarified that securing appointments for recalls is done directly between citizens and the company, but the TOM is willing to intervene with the companies if needed.
