New Double Heatwave Warning for Cyprus

The Meteorological Department has issued a new double warning for extreme high temperatures. A yellow warning is in effect from 10:00 PM today until 9:00 AM tomorrow. The minimum temperature will be 26 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and 24 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

An orange warning will be in effect tomorrow from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 43 degrees Celsius inland and 34 degrees Celsius in the higher mountains.

This is the third consecutive orange warning.
