South Nicosia: Positive Steps to Combat Foot-and-Mouth Disease

The Mayor of South Nicosia, Stavros Chatzigiannis, stated that the municipality's suggestions are being heard by the authorities regarding measures for foot-and-mouth disease.

According to him, automated vehicle spraying systems have begun to be installed, and warning signs are being placed.

Mr. Chatzigiannis emphasized the constant communication with the Department of Agriculture and expressed his satisfaction with the serious handling of concerns raised regarding coordination and responsibilities in mixed zones.
