Young Antonis Returns to Paphos After Treatment in the USA

Young Antonis, who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy, has returned to his ancestral village in Panagia, Paphos, after two years of treatment in the USA. He was transferred in 2019 for treatment.

In a post on the page "For Antonis with Love", the administrators stated that they returned to the birthplace of Antonis' grandparents after a difficult period with surgeries and rehabilitation, but also the loss of loved ones.

According to the post, Antonis continues to grow, get stronger and achieve his goals, relentlessly fighting his own battle for recovery, without losing his smile and hope. He successfully completed the 1st grade of elementary school and is looking forward to returning to school.

At a recent event dedicated to Stelios Pisis, Dimitris Fanis sang a song dedicated to Antonis.
