Healthcare Org Warns of GESY-related SMS Scams

The Health Insurance Organisation (HIO) warns beneficiaries of the GESY healthcare system about fraudulent and malicious text messages (SMS) using the name GESY.

The HIO emphasizes that it has no connection to these messages, which mislead recipients into following electronic links to correct personal information.

It is emphasized that the HIO will never request passwords, login details, payment information, or other personal data via SMS, nor will it request financial transactions via links.

If you receive such a message, it is recommended to delete it immediately and avoid opening the link.
