Cyprus Health Organisation Restricts GeSY Access to Cyprus and Greece

The Cyprus Health Organisation (ΟΑΥ) has announced a temporary restriction of access to the GeSY website and portals, limiting it to Cyprus and Greece only. According to the Director of the IT Department of the ΟΑΥ, Marios Tziakouris, the measure is temporary and is expected to be lifted in early September.

Mr. Tziakouris clarified that the restriction was put in place due to preventive security measures and not due to a cyberattack. The message to beneficiaries was sent after increased calls from doctors and beneficiaries located abroad.
