Roadworks on Nicosia-Deneia Highway Starting September 1st

The Department of Public Works has announced the commencement of roadworks on various sections of the road network starting September 1st.

Specifically, on Monday, September 1st and Tuesday, September 2nd, from 20:00 to 05:30, road removal and resurfacing works will take place on the Nicosia-Deneia highway in both directions, from the Deneia exit to the Akaki roundabout. Traffic will be diverted via alternative routes.

Furthermore, from Monday, September 1st, 2025 to Friday, September 5th, 2025, from 08:30 to 16:30, grass removal works will be carried out on the central island of the Nicosia Peripheral Highway. The adjacent traffic lane of the central island will be partially closed.

Finally, from Monday, September 1st, 2025 to Thursday, September 4th, 2025, between 20:00 and 05:30, periodic maintenance works will be carried out on the Nicosia-Limassol (A1) highway section, from Skarinou to Choirokoitia, towards Limassol. The traffic lanes will be partially closed, and traffic will be diverted to the opposite direction.
