OELMEK: Many Schools Understaffed – Meeting with Minister on Tuesday

OELMEK will meet with the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, on Tuesday, September 2nd, to discuss the new evaluation plan for Educators and Educational Work.

OELMEK President Dimitris Taliadoros stated that approximately 25% of schools are administratively understaffed. He also mentioned problems with the transfers of secretarial staff.

Mr. Taliadoros expressed certainty that there would be problems with the staffing of schools, as appointments are made on the eve of the start of the school year.

He wished students and teachers a good school year.
