Water Supply Returning to Normal in Fire-Affected Areas of Limassol

The water supply network in the fire-affected areas is returning to normal. President of the Limassol District Administration Organization, Giannis Tsouloftas, and the District Engineer of the Water Development Department, Dimitris Andronikou, stated that the problems that arise are expected and being addressed.

Speaking to ΚΥΠΕ, they said that the overconsumption of water for cleaning operations in the lower altitude communities is causing delays in the water supply to certain streets and residences. In addition, pressure fluctuations in the pipes are causing damage to the system.
