The Licensing Authority has announced a permanent ban on a number of taxis from Larnaca and Paphos airports due to violations of the terms and conditions.

According to the announcement, the Authority had previously suspended entry for 52 vehicles for the year 2025, but due to continued violations, a permanent ban was decided.

The Authority reminds that violation of the terms of use of the airports entails an immediate suspension of the right of entry for seven days, with increasing duration in case of repeated violations, up to a permanent ban.

It is also noted that illegal entry of vehicles under suspension has been observed, a phenomenon that the Authority considers unacceptable and requires immediate cessation. Those who provide assistance to these illegal entries will also be subject to suspension.
