The Licensing Authority has announced a permanent ban for a number of taxis from Larnaca and Paphos airports due to repeated violations.

According to the announcement, this decision follows the suspension of entry for 52 vehicles for 2025, as violations continued. The Authority reminds that violating the terms of use of the airports' urban areas initially entails a 7-day suspension, which increases in case of repetition, with a maximum limit of 30 days, before the permanent ban.

Furthermore, it has been observed that vehicles under suspension are illegally entering the airports, a phenomenon that the Authority considers unacceptable. Those providing assistance in these violations will also be subject to suspension of entry rights.
