Paphos: Anastasia Routi-Eleftheriadi Appointed Deputy Municipal Secretary

Anastasia Routi-Eleftheriadi, Municipal Service Officer and head of the Legal Affairs Office of the Municipality of Paphos, has been appointed Deputy Municipal Secretary. The decision was made by the Paphos Municipal Council, chaired by Acting Mayor Angelos Onisiforou, following the suspension of Mayor Faidonas Faidonos.

Ms. Routi-Eleftheriadi replaces Themis Filippidis, who is on pre-retirement leave, until the position is filled permanently. Twelve members of the Council voted in favor of Ms. Routi-Eleftheriadi, while two voted for Konstantinos Christoforou and ten voted for a rotating filling of the position.

The process of appointing a Deputy Municipal Secretary was the central topic of the meeting, which took place in the absence of Mr. Faidonos. All municipal groups agreed that the appointment of an official with knowledge of the municipal machinery is vital.

Ms. Routi-Eleftheriadi is considered one of the most experienced executives of the Municipality of Paphos.
