Patras: Firefighter Seriously Injured After Falling into Ravine

A firefighter was seriously injured in the Bala area of Patras while battling a rekindled fire. The firefighter fell into a ravine and sustained multiple fractures.

According to tempo24.news, the firefighter suffered a fracture in his right knee, which was surgically repaired, as well as fractures in his heel and a vertebra. His recovery is expected to take several months.

The fall occurred on Friday afternoon. Men from the 6th EMAK Patras retrieved him from the ravine.
